S.S. Jain Subodh Shiksha Samiti comprises of people who wanted to make genuine social contribution in the field of education. Established in 1918, Subodh Shiksha Samiti is a Not-for-Profit society working with a missionary zeal, providing selfless service to the people at large for over nine decades now. Its members firmly believe that quality education is an undeniable right and that youth possess the strength to translate every dream into reality.
These dynamic leaders strove ceaselessly to develop educational opportunities for all and to bring proper educational programs to promote the development of balanced and harmonious personality of the students. Their efforts paid-off and today the Samiti is ranked among the largest group of Institutions in Rajasthan. It has 19 institutions under its umbrella ranging from play school to post graduate colleges, teachers’ training college as well as professional Institutions like an MBA Institute, MCA Institute and a Law College. The Samiti members are committed to incessantly provide quality education through accessible fee structure to all.
In the field of education, S.S. Jain Subodh Shiksha Samiti plays a major role in Rajasthan. The Institution started in Jaipur in 1918, just with a registration of two girls. In 1925, a primary school was setup for the education of boys. There after a middle school in 1934, high school in 1944, inter college in 1954, degree college in 1960, post graduate college in 1993 and women’s college in 1999 was established. In between this in 1963 high school was upgraded to higher secondary and in 1988 it was further upgraded to senior secondary school. In this period of development Subodh Evening College in 1975, Subodh Public School in 1985, Subodh Play School in 1995 and Subodh Management Institute in 1997 were also started.
On the occasion of diamond jubilee function of Subodh educational institute in Dec.1995, the former president of India Dr.Shankar Dayal Sharma recommended to add up a women’s college to the long chain of Subodh Institutions. In year 2002, 40,000 Sq.Mt land was allotted by the State Govt. at budhsinghpura, near Airport. A new building of Subodh Girls College was constructed which was inaugurated by the former C. M. of the state Mr. Ashok Gehlot on 7th Oct. 2002 in the same premises having an additive advantage of hostel facilities. On 31st Aug., 2005, a “Women’s College” named “S.S. Jain Subodh Mahila T.T. College” was started with hostel facility which is an incredible effort of the Institution towards promoting women education. This educational Institution is making all the efforts to attain heights in the field of educational research and technology at national and international level.
