Orientation Programme – “Abhinandan”   

The orientation program is an opportunity to build a network of resources that will help students and their parents to start their Subodh’s MBA journey in better manner on the right path.

The orientation program ‘Abhinandan – 2018’ for new batch of MBA students was organized on 4th August, 2018. The program started with students and parents being welcomed with a ‘Tilak’ ceremony and Prof. (Dr.) Raju Agrawal, Director of the institute extending a warm welcome to fresh batch of MBA students. He focused on all-round development of the students. He highlighted the need to improve strength rather than focus on weaknesses. He also encouraged students to look at entrepreneurship as an option as that will contribute towards nation building and development. The program was coordinated by Prof. (Dr.) Jyotsna Mehta.

“Aghaaz”- Ek Nayi Shuruwat

A fresher’s party ‘Aghaaz-2019’ was organized on a theme ‘Rangilo- Rajasthan’ on 13th Oct., 2019 and the idea behind the theme was to discover the colors and vibrant culture of Rajasthan and present highly cultivated classical music and dance with its own distinct style is part of the cultural tradition of Rajasthan. An energetic and entertaining program was put up by the senior batch of students. The program started by a recitation of the Navkar Mantra and the Ganesh Vandana to invoke divine blessings. The Director of the Institute Prof. (Dr.) Raju Agrawal then delivered his welcome speech to the students and urged them to begin the new phase in their life with enthusiasm & vigor by participating in both academic pursuits and in extracurricular activities so that they may develop a holistic personality. The new batch of students also exhibited their talents. Special mention must be made of ‘fresher’ ‘Prateeti Dass’ who gave a scintillating solo dance performance that compelled the audience to tap their feet and dance. The fashion show and Cat-walk was beautifully executed. The titles of Mr. & Ms. Fresher Subodh Management Institute were declared amidst great excitement and applause. Ms Prateeti Dass became Ms Fresher 2018 while Mr Suraj Prakash Gehlot was declared Mr Fresher 2018. Rajasthani folk dances were the main attraction of this program. Among all Rajasthani folk dances, Ghoomar and  Kalbeliya dance attracted everyone very much. Several fun games were also played. Aghaaz was followed by snacks with cold drinks and delicious lunch comprising of mouth watering delicacies . The energy on the dance floor proved that the new batch had a very high level of enthusiasm and would do great work in the future. Everyone was seen enjoying to the core, and as always demanding for more!!!

One Person One Tree

One Person – One Tree

The importance of trees in purifying the air, as natural resources, maintaining the ecological balance, preventing soil erosion, as medicines, habitats for fauna, providing nutrients to the soil etc. are well known to mankind.

“One Person – One Tree” keep environment pollution free programme was organized by the MBA students of SMI under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Raju Agrawal and faculty members. Students gathered in the campus and celebrated the event of tree plantation. Students planted different sapling at SMI campus. The procurement of sapling and other materials was done by students themselves. Students of 3rd semester lead the session by encoring and sharing their thoughts on nature and environmental conversation. Students had prepared a video on global warming which highlighted the past entry of environment problems and the increasing number of environment problems of recent times. MBA students shared their views on tree plantation emphasizing that not only planting a tree was important but it was also vital to nurture and safeguard it.

Job Fair

Industry-Institute interface is what makes a Management Institute relevant for the Business World & Excellent Placements are the ultimate goal for management students. Keeping this in mind a career job fair was organized at the S. S. Jain Subodh Management Institute Mansarovar on the 9th of Sept, 2017. The career job fair was a resounding success and students from Jaipur, Alwar, Ajmer, Tonk, Kotputli, Shahpura, Beawar, Boondi, Sikar etc enthusiastically participated in it. More than a dozen well reputed companies took part in the job fair which was inaugurated by the Director of the institute Prof. Dr. Raju Agrawal. Prof. Agrawal declared the fair open by lighting the lamp and in his address to the participating prospective candidates told them that they must apply for jobs and companies as per their interests and abilities so that they may find the right ‘fit’. He also said that if the students did not chose wisely they would probably be soon looking to change their job which would not be in their favour. Several companies from sectors as diverse as Real Estate, Retail Marketing, E-commerce, Web designing, Pharma sector, Electronic sector, Hotel industry, Consumer goods, Stock market etc. were present for recruitment of suitable candidates for them companies. The offers made to selected candidates renged between two to four and a half lakhs per annum and the educational profile of applying candidates for various positions included BE, MBA, MCA, B.Pharma, BBA and IT.

Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti

The 150th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi was organized on 2nd October, 2018 by organizing number of events in the campus to make this movement effective and successful. Institute organized essay writing competition, plant distribution ceremony, one person- one tree movement, Oath ceremony, cleanliness drive and lectures on the life and mission of Mahatma Gandhi and motivated the students for the nation building. Students took participation in the program with immense zeal. The program began with tree plantation and prize distribution ceremony followed by cleanliness drive to imbibe in them the feeling of cleanliness. Students took oath to keep their the surroundings neat and clean. A symposium on Swachacha Bharat Abhiyan was conducted on this occasion and all the faculty and staff members along with students took part. Prof. (Dr.) Raju Agrawal, Director of the institute, while addressing the gathering advised them to follow the path of Mahatma Gandhi.

In order to encourage greater participations and learning sessions, SMI organized its annual Intra Institute Management Fest “SUKRITI 2018”. The fest included different activities and games related to development of personality of our students. The events included Rangoli, Ad-Selfie, Poster Making, Best out of Waste, Object Painting & Decoration, Business Quiz, Cooking without Fire and Pot Painting Competition. The students of Ist year & IInd year MBA participated enthusiastically in all the events. The Ist year students also gave a tough competition to their senior IInd year students. They could learn self-discipline, communication abilities team work, leadership skills, G-knowledge up gradation in relation to management, time management and coordination through the different events organized at the Institute.

Swachh Bharat- ek Kadam Swatchta ki aur

‘Cleanliness is next to Godliness’

A fortnight long cleanliness campaign, Swacchta Pakhwada was held at Subodh Management Institute between 1st to 15th Sept. 2017. The Cleanliness Campaign was launched by a talk by the Director to Faculty members, students and staff, highlighting the importance of keeping the campus clean. Next, an ACTION PLAN to make the Campus & its surroundings cleaner was outlined and specific steps to be taken identified. The students, staff & faculty members also undertook an oath to always ensure the cleanliness of their work & home surroundings Green & Blue dustbins were placed at strategic spots on campus and the importance of segregating waste was discussed. A tree plantation drive was undertaken as part of the cleanliness fortnight. An essay writing competition on the subject, cleaning of the roads leading to and around the institute and observation of the waste collocation system by the Municipal workers were some of the other highlights of the fortnight.

Jaipur Marathon 

Here come the most awarded celebrations Subodh Shiksha Samiti is celebrating its 100rd year of existence “Subodh Shatabdi Varsh”. The celebrations included the launch of new Subodh logo and Subodh anthem on 26th January 2018. Next in the line was the “Run for health” ie “Jaipur Marathon” which was organized by AU Finance Bank with different sponsors along with other sponsors, Subodh was also a prominent name in the marathon. While the whole Jaipur was running for health, the Institute and all its students along with all the faculty members and other staff also participated enthusiastically in the 6-km long marathon which started from Ram Niwas Bagh & ended at World Trade Park, JLN Marg. The run was not only to pass on the message for being healthy but it was also to convey that Subodhietes are all together and the strength was showcased perfectly in the JAIPUR MARATHON 2018….

Blessings

Blessings – the Farewell Function

A farewell party ‘Blessings 2019’ was held at S. S. Jain Subodh Management Institute on 4th May 2019. The theme of the party was the Masquerade Ball. The theme referred to the ‘mask’ of personality that individuals assume and how it is essential to be able to look beyond the mask. The Chief Guest of the event was Smt. Madhu Modi, Convener of the Institute. The Director of the Institute Prof. (Dr.) Raju Agrawal in his welcome address reminded the passing out students of their journey of two years at the Institute and the invaluable learning that they had been fortunate to be exposed to. He gave his blessings to the outgoing batch and reminded them to forge ahead in life with determination and courage and to never forget the values and ideals that the Subodh group of Institutions stood for.

The party was organized by the first year students who presented an entertaining cultural programme and conducted a ramp walk and talent round for their seniors along with fun games. Pratyaksh Mirza and Aakanksha Johri were declared Mr. SMI 2019and Ms. SMI 2019 respectively, Abdul Rakib Raza and Pratibha Singh were Mr.  & Ms. Best Dressed and Mr. Dhruv Narayan Agarwal & Ms. Deepa Rajput were declared most Talented. The party was immensely enjoyed by all present and the energetic dancing and games were followed by a sumptuous lunch that was heartily appreciated by all.
